Creative Adventures in Portland

I am 24, I was born in Oregon and love Oregon – won’t live anywhere else.  My day job is construction management; currently building a co-generation energy facility for the Oregon State University campus.

Art is a hobby of mine, I’m a ’self learned’ artist that struggles with the fact that I have never been in an art class.  I find that students and critics of the arts have mixed feelings about my work; some love the raw color choices and decisions I make artistically, while others turn their nose down at my lack of professional study.  I started producing original fine art canvas and wood panels as a way to have large professional grade art in my own home.  Now I strive to pass on the great feeling of owning something truly unique and original at a very affordable rate.

I happily “married up” in September of 2008 and moved to woodlawn in North East portland in June of 08.  My hobbies include: playing guitar, snowboarding, drawing, painting, making music with friends, networking and meeting people, studying people and drinking Oregon’s fine craft beers while entertaining my wife and puppy.
