Creative Adventures in Portland

I painted “The Washed Out Zebra” when painting this commission,  I loved the color scheme, and knew this painting wouldn’t last too long before someone scooped it up.  This piece only lasted two shows before Monty, Patton Valley’s wine maker, decided it needed to remain at Patton Valley.  While out for some wine tasting with friends yesterday Monty gave me a generous trade: 2 bottles of my favorite 2007 10 acre Pinot Noir, a bottle of their Patton Valley 07 Pinot Noir (at Kim’s suggestion) and a handful of their “daily drinkiner” the de-classified.  Oo I also got a very nice Patton Valley pullover as well.
