Creative Adventures in Portland

So the mural has been up for about 3 weeks now.  There has been 1… 1 person to write on it and they wrote “this is” in front of one of the Bads.  The experiment of Graffiti as Fine Art is going better than anticipated.  I assumed based on the level of graffiti on the wall prior to my mural, that my work would be tagged all over pretty quickly.  The owner of the store said he has had upwards of 50 compliments and only 1 solitary complaint.  I had people across the empty parking lot thank me for painting over the vandalistic graffiti with a mural that “I’m happy to have my kids and family look at everyday.”  The mural was also featured on the cover of The Alchemist for the first week of June!
